This is an image taken under scanning electron microscope of polymer electrolyte membrane (Nafion) filled with hydroxy apatite nanoparticles. The only editing done to this image is a colored film layered over the original. Our Lab made it to the final round in the Science as art competition during the Boston conference this fall on drugs.
